It appears william Barr is not going to release the Mueller report, merely give us another of his biased summaries. That is not good enough! So what options do we have here?
Sit back and do nothing? March en masse to the White House? Protest?
We have tried all these things before, repeatedly, to no avail. With the Republicans in charge of the Senate, and putting Trump and Party above our Country, we are at a stand still.
Things are getting so bad that we as American’s have become numb. We sit in our living rooms, watch the news and shake our heads. Any other President would have been impeached by now. Put aside the collusion investigation for now, and lets focus on a few other things.
- Obvious obstruction of justice, not only on live TV but by Trump’s tweets. There was afterall, in plain view, the attacks on Michael Cohen, which should have been taken as witness tampering,
- The Stormy Daniels story. Paying off a sexual encounter with a porn star to hide it’s existence right before the election.
- Using his charitable foundation as a slush fund.
- Possible bank fraud.
Those are only a few of the things we know of and that are/were under investigation. Some of them are under the jurisdiction of SDNY. But, in the meantime, even if he is found guilty, we are stuck with him in our White House till his term is up. How is that justice? Laws need to change. Presidents in office MUST be held accountable and be able to be indicted. No one should be above the law, especially the person who is in charge of running our Country, of keeping us safe. No one.
So it appears that no knight in shining armor is going to help us, and our only option at this point is to make sure he does not become a two-term President. If you have never voted before, VOTE!! Don’t sit there and say “My vote won’t count” because it will, and it does. Vote Blue no matter who wins the Democratic Primary. Get involved, volunteer, Hook up with your local Democratic headquarters and join phone banks to call potential voters. We can fight! With our voices, with our passion and with our votes, Donate to candidates if you can, Even the smallest amount can help.
Most importantly, never give up. America is our country. Let’s fight for it with the rights our founding father bestowed on us. America has, and always will, belong to the people, Not the politicians and not the President.
